Dilly's little Dive

here we go

Ya know, I tend to have a habit of getting people, well, a bit miffed with me. I'm either too blase about something or I'm too gung ho. I guess I have to learn the middle ground, but why can't eveyone else just learn to appreciate my extremism?

Isn't it more fun to stand up and scream for joy if you like something than to just say "Yeah, I like that." It seems like it to me..

the music stand
This seems to be the time for mellow releases by artists.

Alanis Morissette's new one is good. It's not as immediately catchy as jagged little pill, and it's a tad mellower.

Seal's HumanBeing is also a bit mellow. But then again, so is his other stuff IF you haven't seen him live... (WHEW!! THAT IS A SHOW!!)
You know what else is good? Lauren Hill's CD. I heard a comment from someone saying she didn't understand what the hype was all about. Well, if you don't get it, thats ok. But if you like Hip Hop/ R&B/Rap but are tired of the constant negative messages, check this out. There was also a rumor going around about her being prejudiced. That's untrue. And it's a long story...Maybe I'll talk about it next time. :-)
